About the Event
Indulge in two hours of creativity with us and learn how to needle felt your own busy little beaver!
With its rounded body, characterful face and unmistakable flat tail, this playful woodland project is enormous fun to make. It’s suitable for complete beginners, while more experienced felters will enjoy picking up new ideas for shaping, joining pieces and adding expressive details.
During the workshop, we’ll make one beaver together from start to finish. We’ll demonstrate each stage clearly, share our favourite felting tips and give you plenty of time to work alongside us.
The class will be held live on Google Meet, so this is much more than simply watching a tutorial. You can ask questions, chat with us and hold your beaver up to the camera whenever you would like a little advice. Tickets
Class Admission
This ticket will allow you access to the class so that you can join in with us. You will need to provide your own materials: 7g of brown mooritt top or similar for the body. 2g of a pale brown for the face (we used Shetland Hound). Plus 2g each of merino tops in chocolate brown, black, white and olive green. You will also need 38G triangular felting needles and a felting mat or household sponge.

This option includes the full Needle Felted Beavers kit, which includes everything you need to make TWO beavers. We will have time to make one during the class and then you will have all the skills you need to make another. You will need to provide a soft surface to work on, such as a felting mat or a household sponge. Or choose the ticket option with a mat and we will send one to you.
