About the Event
Join us for a festive, fun two-hour online workshop and learn how to needle felt your own irresistibly cute little Pig in a Blanket!
Perfect for complete beginners and experienced felters alike, this Christmassy project is full of character and fun to make too. During the class, we’ll guide you step by step through making one Pig in a Blanket, sharing plenty of tips and techniques to help you shape the body, create its cosy blanket and add those all-important features that bring your little piglet to life.
The workshop will take place live on Google Meet. You’ll be able to chat with us, ask questions and show us your work as you go—so if your piglet needs a little help along the way, we’ll be there to get it back on track!
Online workshops are wonderfully relaxed: there’s no travelling and no need to leave the comfort of home.…

Class Admission
This ticket will allow you access to the class. You will need to provide your own materials: 10g of skin-coloured wool – we use candy floss pink – 6g of merino top for the blanket and 1g each of black and brown for facial features, plus colours to decorate the blanket. You will also need 38G triangular felting needles and a felting mat or household sponge.

This option includes the full Needle Felted Pigs In Blankets kit, which includes everything you need to make THREE little piggies. We will have time to make one during the class and then you will have all the skills you need to make more. You will need to provide a soft surface to work on, such as a felting mat or a household sponge. Or choose the ticket option with a mat and we will send one to you.
