In a ready-to-gift box, this kit makes a wonderful creative present for anyone who enjoys felting. The wool has been ethically farmed and dyed to provide the most sumptuous fibres, allowing you to create really high-quality felted items. The natural, undyed English top and Herdwick grey wools are brilliant for creating life-like creatures. Merino wool is perfect for making smaller objects like mini decorations. Or, use it as a top coat over coarse core wool to add detail and softness to your larger projects. We use these colours throughout our range of needle-felting kits and so this makes a great add-on to your collection if you have enjoyed one of our projects and want to make more of the same. This wool can be blended together using carding brushes or even by tearing and rubbing it together in your hands to make your own unique blends.
 
Inside the box:
Carefully packaged inside the pretty display box, you will find over 70g of natural wool fibres (8g of each colour minimum): lightning white, candyfloss pink, eggshell, mink, chocolate brown, black, Herdwick grey and cream English top; THREE specialist 38-40-gauge felting needles - triangular, twisted, and star tipped; and a needle-felting basics guide to help you get started. So, if you’re a beginner and just want to have a play, you can begin making shapes and simple forms straight away. 
You will need:
Lots of imagination and a soft surface to work on. A felting mat is a good investment. Otherwise you can use a small cushion or a bath sponge.
