Turn gorgeous, natural wool fibres into TWO cute Christmas pudding decorations using this brilliant beginner’s craft kit for adults. It’s the perfect festive activity for cosy nights in by the fire.

Needle felting dates back thousands of years - long before plastic, glue or glitter were around - and so you can trust in this hobby to be totally kind to the planet. Discover what our ancestors knew about wool and how to use it to make beautiful ornaments to treasure forever. This Christmas pudding pattern is a great place to start - the techniques are really easy to master and fun too. This is suitable for all ages and abilities but children under the age of 14 should be supervised by an adult as the needle is jolly sharp!

Read our needle-felting basics guide inside the box for tips and even more info about this amazing mess-free craft!

Every one of our kits is packed with love by us in our small Hertfordshire studio, using high-quality, sustainable materials.

Inside your kit, you will find some soft merino fibres sourced from cruelty-free farms, a specialist 40-gauge felting needle and some stripy thread. Plus clear photographic step-by step instructions to guide you through the project. And the basics guide too.

You will need:

A soft surface to work on. A felting mat is brilliant but a large bath sponge or a soft cushion will do if you are just beginning.

Your finished felt puds measure approximately 6cm tall.

Be careful: This is not a toy. Age restrictions 14+. Contains small parts. Please keep it out of the reach of small children.

  • Tips for using this kit

ALWAYS WORK ON A SPONGE! Any old kitchen sponge will do but it's very important to protect your table surface and prevent your needle from breaking. Plus the sponge allows you to create flat, felted pieces.

STORE YOUR NEEDLE SAFELY! Your needle-felting needle is very, very sharp and quite brittle so always store it in a pin cushion, your felting sponge or back in the kit box. Please keep it out of the reach of children.
