In a ready-to-gift box, this kit makes a wonderful creative present for anyone who enjoys felting. The wool has been ethically farmed and dyed to provide the most sumptuous fibres, allowing you to create really high-quality felted items. Merino wool is perfect for making smaller objects like mini felted animals and decorations. Or, use it as a top coat over coarse core wool on larger projects.
 
We use these colours throughout our range of needle-felting kits and so this makes a great add-on to your collection if you have enjoyed one of our projects and want to make more of the same. Merino wool felts easily with a fine-gauge triangular-tipped needle such as a 40 gauge. We provide two within the box. Larger needles may leave holes in the finished surface.
 
This wool can be blended together using carding brushes or even by tearing and rubbing it together in your hands to make your own unique blends.

Lots of imagination and a soft surface to work on. A cushion or large sponge will do if you are just beginning. Or add one of our felting mats to your order.
