A set of three 40 gauge spiral / twisted felting needles, dipped in grey so you can easily identify them in your needle collection.
 
These needles are extra fine and very sharp, making them ideal for tidying, refining and firming up finished needle felted models. They’re particularly useful for working on small details, smoothing your surface, and felting with fine fibres such as merino wool.
 
Each needle has a spiral / twisted shaft with evenly spaced barbs, designed to catch and tangle the wool fibres together to create felt. Their fine gauge makes them a great choice for delicate work and detailed finishing.
 
Please take care when using your needles, as felting needles are very brittle and may snap if bent or twisted. Always work on a soft surface such as a sponge, or add a felting mat to your order for extra protection.
